Sam Farias wears many hats -- born in and based out of New York, she currently works as a freelance photographer, camera operator, and graphic designer. Her background in various crafts informs a holistic approach to creativity. One deeply imbued with a hunger for understanding and knowledge. She aligns the intersections of esoteric philosophies and psychology with applications in project management, forging the connection between the practical and the imagination. In her many years as a photographer, her photos have been transformed into innumerable prints and memorabilia. Images of wedding receptions have been turned to books, senior portraits hung on walls across the metro area, candids of proms and film sets utilized for social media season after season. A distinct eye and approach garners a unique and striking body of work -- in print and video formats. In the coming years, she hopes to write, direct, and DP various film and TV projects. Working in the realm of independent films with aspirations of contributing to the media that inspires the next generation.
